The mission of "Megabank" PLC is to satisfy the requirements of each client – corporate, individual, state – on all the territory of Ukraine in bank services of high quality and reliability, maintenance of saving of the investors’ resources, assistance of economy development in Ukraine, taking into account the interests of the shareholders, society and state.
The strategic purpose of "Megabank" PLC is to achieve the position of a modern, universal, competitive and significant bank of Ukraine. It provides making of the structure that is adaptive and steady to fast changes of external environment, attentive to the clients’ requirements, innovative in relation to its products and services, cautious and cleverly conservative in daily activity.
The strategic tasks of the bank till 2008 inclusive are:
- to increase net assets up to 3,5 billion UAH;
- to increase the shareholders’ equity up to 387 mln. UAH;
- to achieve assets profitability of not less than 1,3%, and profitability of the shareholders’ equity of not less than 10%;
- to increase its own regional network up to 300 departments.
For achievement of the set task it is necessary for the Bank to solve the following tasks:
- to carry out diversification of the resource base, including the usage of international sources;
- to ensure presence of subsidiaries and branches of the Bank in all the regions of Ukraine;
- to increase assets basically at the expense of growth of the credit portfolio of individuals and subjects of small and medium-size business;
- to occupy appropriate positions in the retail market of bank services, to expand a spectrum of services to the subjects of small and medium-size business and individuals, to introduce the system of the Common Settlement Centre in the regions of Ukraine in an active way;
- to introduce the full-function system of risks management in the bank;
- to make flexible, adequate to circumstances system of bank management based on modern principles of corporate governance;
- to carry out loyal policy in relation to the bank personnel directed on consolidation of the staff, increase of creative potential of the collective, minimization of operational risks.
