"Megabank" introduced the service for natural persons to place bank metals in gold for deposit ("Golden Deposit"). The deposit in bank metals in gold can be placed for 12 months with a possibility to replenish the deposit.

The deposit interest rate depends on the weight of bank metals:

• 100 grams – 1,5% per annum;
• 101 – 500 grams – 2,0% per annum;
• More than 500 grams – 2,5% per annum.

Interest is paid at the end of the deposit maturity. As Viktoriya Pidgorna, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, reported:

"Golden Deposit" will be interesting for those who plan to place their cash assets into gold. Taking into account the growth of the gold value during the recent 2 years and tendencies of growth this year, long-term deposits in banking metals in gold are very perspective.
