On April 5, 2007 the Central regional branch of "Megabank" PLC was opened in Ternopil to the address: 17 Rosiyska Street.

The heads of the Ternopil region and the city of Ternopil, and also the Deputy-Chairman of the Management Board of "Megabank" PLC V’yacheslav Ryutin took part in the solemn opening ceremony.

According to the words of Ryutin, the opening of the Ternopil Central regional branch is an important stage of realization of the bank’s corporate strategy, directed on expansion of the subsidiary network. Nowadays 177 subdivisions, which work in 17 regions of Ukraine: the Crimea, Vinnitsa, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhya, Kirovograd, Lugansk, Lviv, Mykolayiv, Poltava, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Kherson, Cherkassy and Chernigiv regions and in the city of Kyiv, function in the structure of "Megabank" PLC.

The Ternopil Central regional branch will give all the spectrum of bank services, accentuating on service of individuals. The clients of "Megabank" will be able to conduct credits, open deposits, carry out operations with securities and bank metals in maximum comfortable conditions. The qualified managers of the bank will help to make plastic cards of both NSMEP and international payment systems, to carry out documentary operations and make money transfers.

"Megabank" PLC is one of the first banks, which began to introduce the National System of Mass Electron Payments (NSMEP). Nowadays "Megabank" has issued more than 120 thousand plastic cards NSMEP. Over one hundred ATMs and terminals of the bank work in the regions of the country. The bank is a member of the international payment system Master Cards.

"Megabank" has developed the unique software "Common Settlement Centre for payments for electricity and utility services" (CSC). The CSC gives an opportunity to pay for services with one slip or without filling in the settlement documents. Due to this system the citizens receive the complete information concerning the condition of the payments for any period, use the simplified mechanism of charging the subsidies. With introduction of the CSC the enterprises, which deliver electricity and provide utility services, have an opportunity to reduce their own expenses for service of the payers’ databases, banks–payment receivers have an opportunity to reduce time for processing of slips; bodies of authority have an opportunity to receive the complete information on the real sum of debts for electricity and utility services. The project has been introduced in the Kharkiv region and 7 more regions of Ukraine and has been working successfully for 8 years already.

On the results of the last complex inspection by the National Bank of Ukraine on the rating system CAMELS "Megabank" is recognized as one of the best Ukrainian banks.
