On July, 6 "Megabank" PLC (Kharkiv) signed the credit agreement with "State Export-Import Bank" (Kyiv) within the framework of the joint Second project of export development with the World Bank of Reconstruction and Development. The project is directed on further development of unstate enterprises-exporters of Ukraine by average- and long-term crediting of investment projects of export-oriented enterprises, increase of their working capital, and expansion of access of enterprises to cheaper credit resources.

The sum of agreement makes 10 mln USD, with opportunity to increase this sum up to 20 mln USD. Term of agreement is 5 years. Due to received cash "Megabank" intends to finance operations of local enterprises-exporters.

On July, 1 the regional network of "Megabank" PLC made 178 subdivisions in 17 regions of Ukraine, including 6 subsidiaries, 1 representative office and 171 branches. The net assets of the bank made 1,522 billion UAH, credit portfolio - 1,077 billion UAH, regulative capital - 241 million UAH. The net income for the first half-year made 10,1 million UAH.

On April, 1, 2007 the net assets of "Ukreximbank" made 19 billion 327,2 million UAH, credit portfolio - 15 billion 217,9 million UAH, equity - 1 billion 941,2 million UAH. The bank finished the first quarter with the net income of 85,604 mln UAH. 100% of shares of "Ukreximbank" is in state property.
