The treaty with the European Bank of the Reconstruction and Development by 20 million USD credit for long-term financing little, small and middle business local companies. The treaty was concluded in "STATUS QUO" press-center at September 27.

The European Bank of the Reconstruction and Development also granted a loan by 3 million (USA dollars) in the credit line framework opened on the program of the trade assistance. The "Megabank" PLC is eleventh Ukrainian bank joined to the programme. According to Mr. Kurt Gaiger statement, the European Bank of the Reconstruction financial organization department Director, the credit given to the "Megabank" PLC is the biggest the European Bank of the Reconstruction and Development bargain in Kharkiv. The micro credits will be more widely available for consumers thanks to the European Bank of the Reconstruction and Development and the "Megabank" PLC cooperation. Mr. K.Gaiger marks that the "Megabank" PLC plans to increase the small and middle business crediting operations volume a 40%. The European Bank of the Reconstruction and Development is glad to grant recourses for this.

According to Mr. Viktor Subbotin statement, the "Megabank" PLC Supervisory Council Chairman, the bank begin giving credits from October 1, 2007 year. "We are proud of the bank is entrusted of the European level investments directing to the region economy development", – said V.Subbotin. According to Ms. Elena Zhukova statement, the "Megabank" PLC Chairman of the Board, the credit is received during 5 years. The credit measurement for little enterprises – till 250 thousands (USA dollars), for small and middle enterprises – till 750 thousands (USA dollars). The credits are given during 5 years term. The European Bank of the Reconstruction and Development provides assistance of the procedure construction in the businessman’s projects valuation. "The bank will plan to deviate from the stable deposit credits issue practice and will be pay attention to business-projects quality valuation", – said Ms. E.Zhukova.

The European Bank of the Reconstruction and Development owner are 61 countries and 2 intergovernmental organizations. The bank shoulders the charges to credit 140 projects on 3 billion hryvnas in Ukraine at the end of the August 2007 year.
